Industry Case | FRECON PV500 Series in Aerator

Date:2026-03-16 12:11:17Author:FRECONClick:33

In modern aquaculture, maintaining the oxygen content in water is crucial for the health and growth of fish. Aerators are widely used in aquaculture farms to ensure an adequate supply of oxygen in the water.

In the application of aerators, the PV500 series inverter can provide a more efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly oxygen supply by making full use of solar energy resources and the variable frequency control function of the converters. This improves the aquaculture environment, promotes fish growth, and brings practical benefits to the aquaculture industry.

An aerator is mainly composed of a power motor, a reduction mechanism, an impeller, a floating body, a bracket, and a protective net. The motor, as a power source, reduces the rotational speed and increases the torque through the reduction mechanism, driving the impeller to rotate stably. When the impeller runs at high speed, it agitates the water body, cuts the water splashes, draws air into the water, and increases the dissolved oxygen content.

The floating body supports the entire machine to float on the water surface, the bracket ensures the stability of all components, and the protective net prevents debris from entanglement or contact with humans and animals. The overall structure is simple and the operation is reliable, which is suitable for aquaculture scenarios such as fish ponds and shrimp ponds.

An aerator drives an impeller to rotate at high speed through a motor. Using centrifugal force and stirring action, it throws the water body into the air, forming water splashes and water curtains, which expand the contact area between water and air, allowing oxygen in the air to quickly dissolve into the water. At the same time, the impeller agitates the water body to generate water flow and negative pressure, sucking air into the water to form bubble diffusion, further improving the oxygen dissolution efficiency. It can break the stratification of the water body, promote the exchange of upper and lower water bodies, improve the hypoxic condition at the bottom, inhibit the accumulation of harmful gases, and provide a stable oxygen-dissolved environment for aquaculture.

Solar power supply: The photovoltaic water pump inverter obtains renewable energy supply by connecting to solar panels. This reduces operating costs and has a smaller impact on the environment.

Inverter control:The solar pump inverter realizes the variable adjustment of the gas production speed of the aerator by automatically adjusting the operating frequency of the water pump. This means that the aerator can provide an appropriate oxygen supply at different times and under different conditions, thereby improving efficiency.

The FRECON PV500 photovoltaic inverter, when paired with an aerator, uses solar energy to achieve low-carbon energy efficiency and reduce operating costs. It precisely adjusts the oxygen supply rate through frequency conversion, improving aquaculture efficiency. This solution is environmentally friendly and can operate sustainably, effectively promoting the development of aquaculture towards a more efficient, energy-saving, and ecological direction.
